Man..its August already. Going on summer vacation finally at the end of this of this month. Have a wedding to go to on the 16th, then vacation from 17th – 31st. Do not know where I will be going first, but I know it will be somewhere for at least 3 or 4 days at a time…a bit cheapier that way too..

Sorry for the late posting, but been having major freakin problems with this hosting company and I am really getting annoyed by them, HARD CORE!!. I will give them another shot, but I am also going to keep track of how many days out of the month the site is not working or “responding” according to them…and demand either some extra free space due to their problem or my money back and just host the damn site somewhere else and pay a bit more.

I guess you get what you pay for. What do you want for .99cents per months hosting…

According to American magazine BusinessWeek, Nokia places sixth on this year’s list of the world’s most valuable brands. The value of Nokia’s brand is estimated to be 29.4 billion dollars, down slightly from last year.
The results are based on an analysis of how much the brand name drives the products’ sales.
The top five positions in the study, conducted by brand analysis company Interbrand, were captured by Coca-Cola, Microsoft, IBM, General Electric, and Intel. The Coca-Cola brand is estimated to be worth 70.5 billion dollars.
A total of 62 brands among the top one hundred belonged to American companies. In addition to Nokia, Mercedes is the only non-U.S. brand in the top ten.
Nokia’s Swedish competitor Ericsson placed 80th on the list. However, Sweden’s most valuable brand at the moment is IKEA, which made the 43rd spot.

…and where in the hell did the summer go? Well, July is almost outa here, and welcoming in August will be a hard one as I do not want the summer months to go away…I was enjoying the July month at work with not much to do (kind of a mini-vacation in itself) but am looking forward to my two weeks at the end of the month.

Hanna and I have two weddings to go to, one in August with her friend Terhi and Jari, and then my friends Cris and Mary in September. Can’t wait for both of them.

Nothing new and exciting otherwise, just enjoying the cool day rather than the latest hot days of summer we have been having here in Finland.. (Average temp for July was 27.5*c – now that’s hot for finland)

Oh ya, HAPPY Early BIRTHDAY to my DAD!!! July 28th – I will promise to call and wish him a great day!.
