Well, hope everyones Turkey Day and the mid week day off was fabulous for all.

I dont get that day off here in Finland, but wont be getting a Finnish National Holiday day off until December 24th, 25th, 26th and then Jan 1st and 6th.

So I think it makes up for not having November 27th and 28th. =)

Nothing new and exciting here. getting colder each day that goes by, and only a few more days of this SEATTLE weather we are having (light drizzle, cold, windy crap) before it starts snowing on a more regular basis.

Sun comes up around 8:40 and sets about 4:20 or so..(when its out an about and not covered with a blanket of GREY overcast clouds).

As you can also see on the top right hand side of my journal, the CURRENT TERRORIST THREAT LEVEL is now functional with my OWN images. I got that great script working finally with a little help from the support people at www.cgiexpo.com/files/hsas.html and of course Hanna for joggin my memory banks to put the server level path instead of the actual http path. ;)

Scandinavia tops the world in access to the Internet and other communications technologies, but South Korea and other Asian countries are catching up fast, the U.N. communications agency said Wednesday.
Sweden came in first in the Digital Access Index, followed by Denmark and Iceland, while Norway was fifth, said the International Telecommunications Union.
“Their presence at the top reflects that region’s traditional emphasis on equitable access, affinity for technology and top-notch infrastructure,” the ITU report said.
South Korea, world leader in high-speed “broadband” access, came in fourth. South Koreans are heavy users of the Internet for games, chatting and other purposes.
Filling out the top 10 in order were the Netherlands, Hong Kong, Finland, Taiwan and Canada.

the trip to Oulu was great. It was nice to see Jari again.

Planning a possible new training trip to the UK for the first week of December, so we shall see how that turns out. (hopefully nice)

Got all the previous logs (2001 / 2002 before the start of this blog) now in the db. WOO HOO!..

Planning new things for www.project-suomi.com, so stay tuned for that one as well. Off to Kouvola again this weekend for apartment doings and hauling up all the kitchen cabinets / closets up 4 flights + 3 flights of stairs…JOY!

Well, spent this past weekend in Kouvola / Kuusankoski working on the new apartments getting them ready before the end of the month for the new tenants.

Pics will be coming shortly (either tonight or tomorrow) of the 2 room apartment.

Next weekend will be the one room apartment and taking down all the closets / wall paper / and possibly the kitchen cabinets if all goes well. (at least thats my master plan.)

that way I can have the following weekend to myself. ;)

Off to Oulu once again on Wednesday all day for work stuff, so that should be nice and a change in pace of things.
