Journal has a new home

Place the Daily Journal on new home site that isn’t so controlling on CGI bandwith. It was just a pain to update the journal and get these time out sessions because I was using the free services of this other web hosting company.

Now I have a much better service through these guys and I like the service so far. Its a bit different interface than I was used to, but hey, I am now paying for the services….and its so nice not getting time out sessions anymore.

Day 6 & Returning from Vacation

Day 6 – Just wanted to get as much sun as possible, and with out making the rash get in an “UPROAR”, I just sat under the umbrella by the pool side while Hanna soaked up the last days rays before we packed our things up, went and did some last minute shopping in downtown, and had a nice dinner at the greek resturaunt that we tried earlier in the week.

Day 7 – Finally after 6 hours of flight time, we are home safe and sound in Helsinki. Now its time to load up on Vitamin C to make sure we do not get sick from going to +24*c to now 0*c . =)

..more to come and pics too…

Day 5 – vacation

day 5 – The Catamaran boat trip to the northern point of Fuerterventura was great & had a blast. Hanna and I made the most of the day even though i still cant enjoy the sunshine because of my sun rash i have. Hanna had a great time and we took some pictures of the area’s islands and some of the active volcanoes nearbye. will post the pictures over the weekend.

day 4 – annual rain fall

day 4 – it was told by our tour guides that it is a very rare sight to have any type of large amount of rain fall in Fuerteventura. (anuall rainfall is something like 40cm) and that there are tons of plastic tubing all around the downtown area supplying water to the vegatation as the plantlife would die without the water.

well today april 7th, we had the anuall rain fall and then some, with at least 40cm + fall within an hours time frame, causing a bit of flooding in the streets. …more to ccome…
