Friday Night…

Well, being sick is for the dogs.

But feeling better since being away from work for 3 days now, and with all the drugs and sleep that I have been taking for the sinus infection I got, I am feeling better. Though I should be in bed still and sleeping, I had to jump online to say a few things and check my emails (which I had a lot, and not that much junk mail either). I am glad I jumped online to check a few things.

The weather cannot make up its mind whether or not to just start snowing or snow and then melt away and stay cold. GRRRRRR….. I wish it just start snowing everyday and be a normal winter here for a change and be done with it by spring time. =)

Got my Message forum (info forum) finally up and running again, as I screwed around with it and messed it up royally. Its now working fine…with some new kewl “hacks” included. (customized language and skin templates to your choosing). Very kewl if you ask me. Why don’t you join and check it out!

Well, enough said, gotta get back to bed and sleep. maybe a long hot shower will do me good.

…More to come soon….

May the Venture begin…

Well, another week begins.

The weather is beginning to get much colder now, as we go into November here in Helsinki. Right now, as I write this journal entry, it is -5.1*c ( 22.8*f) and that is warm for this time of the year.

Probably going tomorrow afternoon after work to go and look at some fish tanks stands for the aquarium that I purchased. Hopefully I can get something soon, as I would like to get the aquarium up and running in my office as the moisture would be good for the computer equipment I have now set up. The TANK CAM will be up and running as soon as I get the much needed firewall computer from Nev. (hopefully before the end of the month if all goes well.

I am almost done with my little home network system as I have the following computer systems up and running…

1- 350mhz PII, 12.1gb + 3.2gb HDD, 256mb ram, 10/100mbps nic
Nokia 447Xpro multigraph 17″ monitor

2- 200mhz Pentium, 6.5gb HDD, 280mb ram, 10/100mbps nic
LG 15″ svga monitor

3- P100mhz, 2 @ 850mb HDD, 128mb RAM, 1 quad 10/100 mbps nic
sharing the LG 15″ monitor + keyboard + mouse with one switch box

4 – CentreCom 8-port HUB (mr820tr)

I will be building a super computer for myself as an early xmas present with either a xeon chip or dual PIII 1.13 ghz for my “screw around and see if I can blow it up” cpu. Lets see what happens.

Well off to bed and some much needed sleep.

…more to come soon….
