Went yesterday and picked up all new closets and hallway closets. Will get those in place today with the wall paper in our bedroom. Will have the living room and my room painted before the week is over. The kitchen has been “etched in stone” sort of speaking as Hanna and I have come to an agreement on how the kitchen should look and feel with colors and where all the drawers and shelf space should be located. (in other words, I had no say so, and she had all the say so in the matter.. =] ) Though I picked the colors..he he he he. Also went to a importer of Italian tiles that Hanna’s father knows very well. We looked at kitchen floor tile (which will be dark gray- almost black – semi gloss – enough to look nice after cleaning, but enough grip in case its wet not to slip and kill ourselves with) and also set on the color of tile in the bathroom. Wall to Wall tile including the floor in the bathroom. Bottom will be dark, smoky looking blue with a flowery print as a border or separator, then white tile with a blue smoky look to it (kinda reverse to the one below) and then finally finishing off with the same separator tile of the flowery print. The floor will have a smaller square tile with a very small appearance of a black smoky texture to it. Sort of like the wall feeling…but on a smaller scale on the floor. We are also going to have a small Jacuzzi in the this bathroom…Don’t ask how, but I figured it out on paper…its just a matter of it will work in real life. Keep your fingers crossed. =) I will post and send pictures as soon as I get them developed of our progress so far.
