Starting to snow much more often now here in Finland, mostly upper Finland. Getting myself some new gloves to start wearing as the temp here is starting to drop dramatically (down to the lows of -1.9*c (29*f) to 2.1*c (35.8*f)the average. Hanna today (06.11.2001) Left this morning for Atlanta, GA. She will be working there for 1.5 month while the person she is replacing gets trained here in Finland. I am happy for her as this is something that she really, truely wanted to do. We will see if she likes the lifestyle or doesn’t want to travel ever again. =)
I am wishing for the second choice.
I may be coming out to sunshine and much warmer California next month as would rather not spend the entire 6 weeks by myself doing nothing. Can’t wait to get out there. Other than that, work is going well and living here has been the best so far. Just minus the snow of course. ;)

First snow fell, but didn’t stay on the ground. Finalized a few more projects today, but am still somewhat not involved yet with a major project with continuous work. But am waiting eagerly taking course to refresh my memory with computer skills, and going to seminars to sharpen my listen and speaking skills.

I am sure there will be more to come…

Well, nothing too new and exciting to say here. Saw for the first time, the Northern Lights! It was too KEWL! I was told by some of my co workers that it is a very rare sight to have seen them here in Helsinki and for that matter the southern point of FInland. It is seen better in Lapland (Northern Finland) as you get closer to, and past, the Artic Circle. But either way, it was kewl to watch. For a brief second or two, I totally forgot about all the problems the world is suffering at the moment and just concentrated on something kewl to watch for a change. It was a nice break.

Everything is going well. Getting busy once again at work. Apartment is almost done and waiting for the plumbers to show up to finish the pipe fittings and new toliet installation.
Going to pick up the pictures today from the photo store and should have them up on the website either late Tuesday night or Wednesday morning (my time). I am still waiting for the local ISP company to figure out the “bandwidth” problem and get our home hooked up. We will see what happens this week. If not this week I will contact someone here in Nokia to get this done. I WANT MY INTERNET!!!!!
