Importance of Water

Importance of water, are you drinking enough?
We all know that water is important but I’ve never seen it written down like this before.
75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated.
In 37% of Americans, the thirst mechanism is so weak that it is often mistaken for hunger.
Even MILD dehydration will slow down one’s metabolism as much as 3%.
One glass of water shuts down midnight hunger pangs for almost 100% of the dieters studied in a U-Washington study.
Lack of water is the #1 trigger of daytime fatigue.
Preliminary research indicates that 8-10 glasses of water a day could significantly ease back and joint pain for up to 80% of sufferers.
A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on the computer screen.
Drinking 5 glasses of water daily decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45%, plus it can slash the risk of breast cancer by 79%, and one is 50% less likely to develop bladder cancer.
Are you drinking the amount of water you should every day?
(No kidding, all of the above is true.)

Sex information

Thought I would pass this along as it was passed to me…

Did you know that you could tell from the skin whether a person is sexually active or not?

1. Sex is a beauty treatment. Scientific tests find that when women make love they produce amounts of the hormone estrogen, which makes hair shine and skin smooth.
2. Gentle, relaxed lovemaking reduces your chances of suffering dermatitis, skin rashes and blemishes. The sweat produced cleanses the pores and makes your skin glow.
3. Lovemaking can burn up those calories you piled on during that romantic dinner.
4. Sex is one of the safest sports you can take up. It stretches and tones up just about every muscle in the body. It’s more enjoyable than swimming 20 laps, and you don’t need special sneakers!
5. Sex is an instant cure for mild depression. It releases endorphins into the bloodstream, producing a sense of euphoria and leaving you with a feeling of well-being.
6. The more sex you have, the more you will be offered. The sexually active body gives off greater quantities of chemicals called pheromones. These subtle sex perfumes drive the opposite sex crazy!
7. Sex is the safest tranquilizer in the world. IT IS 10 TIMES MORE EFFECTIVE THAN VALIUM.
8. Kissing each day will keep the dentist away. Kissing encourages saliva to wash food from the teeth and lowers the level of the acid that causes decay, preventing plaque build-up.
9. Sex actually relieves headaches. A lovemaking session can release the tension that restricts blood vessels in the brain.
10. A lot of lovemaking can unblock a stuffy nose. Sex is a natural antihistamine. It can help combat asthma and hay fever.

Oulu Trip

I went on my very first Business Trip within Nokia to Oulu, Finland on Tuesday, November 19th.
My day started off at 06:00 getting ready to get to the airport before my flight took off at 07:35. Made it in the nick of time as it took some time to get to the airport as the weather was not cooperating at all. Rainy / Snowy day that day.
Got on board and had a very relaxing 1 hour flight from Helsinki / Vantaa Airport to Oulu Airport. Landed at around 08:40 and walked from the airplane and greeted the Nokian shuttle service and got me to the Oulu Office a little after 09:00 in the morning.
Met with my coworker Jari (the person who I went to go see for work stuff) and enjoyed the day in Oulu working on our current Project.
Very nice city to visit, lots of snow, and it a bit darker during the morning hours and toward the eveing hours than in Helsinki. (sun rises around 09:30 and starts to set around 14:45. (still wierd to see this process happen and I have been here two winters so far..)
Well, not much other than that. Still snowing and its really kewl looking to see all the snow everywhere. Will take some pictures this weekend and post them on my Photo Gallery.

Enjoying time in Kouvola

Well, since not being at Hanna’s parents home in Kouvola for such a long time, its nice being here now, enjoying everyone’s company and playing with her little sister, Tiia.

Went shopping and Hanna spent lots of money on xmas presents. It was nice to check out the shops and see all the kewl stuff out on the store shelves.

There is about the same amount of snow here in Kouvola as there is in Helsinki, so we shall see who gets more snow in the coming months, (most likely here in Kouvola, but It may be colder in Lauttasaari for sure..)
