Practice makes perfect

Well, went to the church to hear our names read out to make sure no one else has issues about Hanna and I getting married, and no one spoke, so I guess its on for the big bash coming up!..

We went over and practiced a bit with how things will take place in the church and how we should stand, and act when asked questions, what not. Techincally speaking we are married as the priest was a bit nervous and made us practice our vows and he asked me if I take Hanna and the same for Hanna to me, and we both said yes.. so does that mean we are technically married? ( Maybe, but who’s really keeping track?)

Getting last minute name place settings arranged and going over the church and Reception programs with Tiina tonight with Hanna. Picking up our best friends, the best man Cris and his wife Mary and Rehana on Thursday from the airport…then off on Friday to Kouvola to pick up the tux’s and off to the reception area for the evening and getting ready for the events to unfold on Saturday!!

Cant Wait!!..

more to come ….

3 years after.. are we any safer?

Well, 3 years have gone by and I ask myself, are we any safer from terrorist attacking the USA?

Answer: probably not, but I think more people are a bit aware of their surroundings, their more nosey to their neighbors, and are more curious to ask questions to total strangers than perhaps 3 years previously.

at least this is my opinion, but I really feel that at least making it aware to others of what is going on around them now, it makes things a bit more complicated for those that wish to do harm onto others by cowardly acts of viloence and terror.

Bachelor Party

Well, had my bachelor party yesterday, Sept 4th, 2004… WOW is all I gotta say. Very long, hard and challenging to say the least. Timo and the boys put me through the paces of manhood and to make sure I am worth of getting married. I passed all the tests.

*Flew a helicopter over Lauttasaari, Nokia HQ & the American Embassy. (and I managed to fly the helicopter for a bit too – that was fun.)

*Wrestled and learned how to get thrown properly by my wife. Women wrestler Heidi was her name and nice person. Taughts us all a thing or two about how tough women can be.. and she was a bit “saucy” too…(that was from Neville)

*Had a few rounds of HUNTING ROB with PaintBall battles. I enjoyed this task as I managed with the last round (American / English team vs. Finnish Team) to take out Pekka and Timo before I round out of paint pellets. American Colloation was triumphant.

*Then we went to a place for me to cook for the boys and then have Sauna and watch the Suomi vs. Sweden World Cup Hockey Match. (ended up 4 – 4 tie but Finland takes the division as they had more goals.. ;) )

*After the hockey match, we cleaned up, and headed to downtown to the bars to drink up some more. Got home roughly around 4:30 / 5:00 and just now getting up to write this entry. Been a long day, and so looking forward to more sleep.. My Body feels like a mat truck slammed into me…

Hats off to the boys that attended: Timo, Teemu, Pekka, Big Janne, Brad, Chris and Nev. Thanks Guys! It will be moment in my life I wont forget for a long time! (and I think I now know what you meant by Gunther will be meeting me later…It feels like it! ) =)
