Its been a long time….

.. since my last post. sorry about that. Its been quite hectic for me as of late with the Little man and with work related matters. Little Robert is growning like a jack rabbit and he is learning a lot of new things everyday. With work stuff being as it is lately, and Hanna staying with her parents at a weeks time while I am here in Helsinki, its sad that i miss out in the opportunities of watching Robert do new things, like crawl on his own for the first time, or listening in on how he says “Iso Äiti”, — Issss.. as he says it.. he he he..

Its been over 6 years now that i have worked for Nokia Corporation and the final day has come and gone. I have now started my new postion in Nokia Siemens Network as of April 2nd 2007. Boy, how time has flown for me here in Finland. Moving here to be with, now, my wife in March 2001 and with the little one being born in August 2006, and now this, the new formed company in April 2007. I guess things are looking up for me, hopefully.

But for now, its business as usual and hopefully their will be light at the end of the tunnel with it being so busy. I think a vacation is in order. I will keep you all posted more often as time permits.

Punxsutawney Phil doesn’t see his shadow

The furry little rodent saw didnt see his shadow today so spring will arrive earlier than expected..

legend has it that German Superstitions believed that if a hibernating animal cast a shadow on Feb. 2 — the Christian holiday of Candlemas — winter would last another six weeks. If no shadow was seen, legend said spring would come early.

going on 35…

wow, never thought i would see this day.. but nontheless here it is, my 35th birthday.. and not a candle in sight.. THANK GOD!! i think i would cause a fire hazard if Hanna’s parent did in fact put candles on a cake… which was store bought and not hand made.. yeah!! :)
