day 5 – The Catamaran boat trip to the northern point of Fuerterventura was great & had a blast. Hanna and I made the most of the day even though i still cant enjoy the sunshine because of my sun rash i have. Hanna had a great time and we took some pictures of the area’s islands and some of the active volcanoes nearbye. will post the pictures over the weekend.

day 4 – it was told by our tour guides that it is a very rare sight to have any type of large amount of rain fall in Fuerteventura. (anuall rainfall is something like 40cm) and that there are tons of plastic tubing all around the downtown area supplying water to the vegatation as the plantlife would die without the water.

well today april 7th, we had the anuall rain fall and then some, with at least 40cm + fall within an hours time frame, causing a bit of flooding in the streets. …more to ccome…

broke out in a terrible rash today. dont know from what or what caused it, but it was bad enough for me to visit the local the doctor. 2 shots in the butt later and applying some smelly itching creame i am feeling better. lets see how it goes with the catamaran boat trip tomorrow. no sun alound for a couple of days the doctor said.

day 3= afternoon update.
not much sun today. :(
went to the local market to shop for rip offs and total fake merchandise. found a beach towel. everything else was nice.
heading out tonight for dinner and ice cream and bed early as tomorrow should be a great one and sunny.
